The event, located 45 minutes south of Whistler, showcased the region's natural beauty and the growing popularity of dirt bikes in outdoor recreation. The Squamish Dirt Bike Association, with the help of dedicated volunteers and sponsors, created an epic course that challenged riders with rain, steep mountains, and technical trails. The race featured a mix of local and international talent, with Canada's own Trystan Hart emerging as a celebrity in his home country. Hart's dominance in the Pro division, winning the race in 2 hours and 13 minutes, inspired future generations of riders and highlighted the talent emerging from British Columbia. The event also served as a platform for the AMA Hard Enduro Series, with the next round scheduled for August in Ohio.
